Connectable Work Pontoons
made of Plastic and Steel
Allow us to advise you – We have the ideal steel-pontoon for you
By default we can offer you coupleable steel pontoons made of plastic or steel and therefore cover a wide spectrum of applications. All pontoons are available for purchase. The payload of these pontoons is ranged between 200 kg/m² – 700 kg/m².
For use as floating work- or small transport platform with low payloads we recommend the use of the connectable plastic floats of type PT05. Floating platforms consisting of these pontoons can also be equipped with a small scaffolding on deck.
The modular work pontoons PSK-10 or PSK-20 are well suited for works on water with heavy equipment or transport of heavy materials on rivers and lakes. These pontoons are characterized by a particularly high degree of robustness and have proven themselves at different works on the water. Standardly the steel floats are anticorrosive protected with a two-component paint so that a reliable protection against corrosion is exist. Moreover, the surface is sanded and thus made non-slip. Therefore a separate deck flooring is not necessary.
All our modular work floats made of steel can easy transported by truck and therefore they are quickly and flexibly usable at the most desired operation sites. That means that all needed pontoons are delivered individually and then assembled directly on the water to small or larger floating platforms.
By the way: All floating work platforms can be equipped with an outboard engine to drive small distances on the water.
We are happy to advise you: non-binding and of course free of charge. Please use our contact form or callback service. All our steel pontoons subject to the highest quality standards and are manufactured according to the currently applicable regulations. A team of engineers and professionals will assist you in planning as well as in building and commissioning. With PEREBO you have found the ideal partner, to perform professional business-, leisure- and other main events on the water.

(with uniform load distribution)
Two layers
payload= approx. 600kg/m²
(with uniform load distribution)
This modular floating system is based on the floats of type PT05. They are laid side by side until the desired area is reached. The connection is made by steel-clamps. It’s possible to build floating platforms in a rectangular- or unsymmetrical shape. In the next step of assembly, a floor covering (e.g. bulb plates or gratings) or anti-slip mats can be laid and, if necessary, fixed with screws. Without problems a railing can also be attached fast and easy. It consists of single posts and railing struts, similar to the ones used at scaffoldings.
If necessary, the float platform can be fixed or anchored using anchor weights, ropes or piles.
You can also order the following accessories:
- motor support
- outboard engine
- small scaffolding
As a general rule:
You can buy either only the individual parts (e.g. single floats PT05 plus connection elements) or completely finished floating platforms.

system description pontoons PSK-10
Overview of pontoons of type PSK-10
Description of the pontoon system:
All steel pontoons of the PSK-10 series can be coupled with old “nato pontoons” and can be connected to each other both lengthwise and on the short side. To do this, the pontoon sections must are lowered into the water by means of a lifting device first. (e.g. crane or forklift) This can be done by means of four suitable hoisting slings or chains which can be fixed at the four available lifting lugs. On the water the modular steel pontoons are pushed together and then coupled by means of the connecting elements. (connection forks and connection rings) For assembly only 2-3 people are required. In this way floating work platforms with different dimensions can be built very easy. It’s also possible to equip your floating work platform with various accessories, if you like. (e.g. railing, motor support, mooring winches, etc.)
Important information:
All listed payloads are only valid for an uniform load distribution.
The standard thickness of the outer sheets is 3mm. (4mm sheet thickness is also possible for an extra charge)
On request and for an additional charge, we can prepare capsize safety and floating stability calculations for your work pontoon. (only in accordance with German regulations and only in German language)
system description pontoons PSK-20
Overview of pontoons of type PSK-20
Description of the pontoon system:
The steel pontoons PSK-20 are constructed in the same way as the PSK-10 series but have a significantly higher load-bearing capacity. The individual pontoon sections of the PSK-20 series can be connected to each other on the short or long sides. To do this, the pontoons must are lowered into the water by means of a lifting device first. (e.g. crane or forklift) This can be done by means of four suitable hoisting slings or chains which can be fixed at the four available lifting lugs. On the water the pontoons are pushed together and then coupled by means of the connecting elements. (connection forks and connection rings) For assembly only 2-3 people are required. This allows floating work platforms to be built with divers dimensions and high load-bearing capacities very easy. It’s also possible to equip your special floating work pontoon with various accessories, if you like. (e.g. railing, motor support, mooring winches, etc.)
Important information:
All listed payloads are only valid for an uniform load distribution.
The standard thickness of the outer sheets is 4mm. (5mm sheet thickness is also possible for an extra charge)
On request and for an additional charge, we can prepare capsize safety and floating stability calculations for your work pontoon. (only in accordance with German regulations and only in German language)
