In general you have the possibility to purchase a complete houseboat or only a pontoon platform for your houseboat self-construction. In the following can you learn more about it:
Mobile prefab houseboats of type PH10 and PH20
Our mobile houseboats of the PH10 and PH20 series are equipped with an outboard engine and can be driven without a boating license. (that only applies in Europe) They have been designed for seasonal use from spring to autumn and it is possible to leave them in the water in winter, subject to certain rules. It should also be noted that these houseboats may only be used with maximum wave heights of 0.30m (temporarily 0.50m) and a wind speed of 4 (Beaufort), which is usually the case on inland waters. However, it is also possible to drive on waters where theoretically stronger winds and higher waves can occur. In this case, however, the current weather conditions must always be kept in mind and the houseboat’s berth must also be selected and monitored accordingly.
The slightly smaller PH10 house boats can be transported by trailer on the road. You are welcome to order the corresponding boat trailer directly from us. The equipment level of the houseboats and the dimensions are at least partly adaptable. Just talk to us by phone or e-mail to discuss this in more detail. We will be happy to advise you.
Stationary prefab houseboats of type PH30
Our floating bungalows of the PH30 series are permanently anchored at the berth and are therefore not mobile. Anchoring is best done via dolphin piles in order to be able to compensate for different water levels. These foundation piles as well as the access from the land to the floating house must always be adapted to the respective berth, which is why a price determination for these components is only possible after detailed technical planning. These floating holiday homes can only be used on standing inland waterways and, like our mobile houseboats, can only be used half-yearly in the warm months.
Homemade houseboats
There is the possibility for you to purchase only the pure pontoon platform with us, in order to be able to build and/or complete your houseboat by do-it-yourself. Just use our configurator and configure your own floating houseboat pontoon. In addition to a suitable outboard motor, bow thruster, railing and even more, you can also order an aluminum house frame. This has the advantage that the building structure of the house would then be ready for planking of the walls, the roof and interior construction.
Attention:
Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a complete houseboat as a kit, as almost every customer has different ideas regarding appearance, choice of materials and interior design. Therefore you can only choose between our prefabricated houseboats of the PH10 – PH30 series or order a pure pontoon platform or rather a floating houseboat platform.
