Modular Float System PT01

for building of pontoon boats with medium payloads or small house boats

  • short description PT01 system

The modular float system PT01 is especially suitable for DIY-building of pontoon boats and small mobile house boats or pontoon rafts. The floats can be plugged together by dovetail guide. The hull length can therefore be variable. You need a bow section (top II) any number of middle sections and a stern section (endpiece) if you want.
By means of the embedded metal threads it's possible to screw a keel ledge at the hull underside and a support frame at the top side. The supporting frame can consist of wood, plastic or metal depending on required stiffness of the floating platform. An attached keel ledge (e.g. solid plastic profile) under the pontoon hull enhances the stability of the hull as well as the manoeuvrability of your pontoon boat or houseboat.

Following float types can be used

Possible hull forms

hull form 1 (1x front section + nx middle section + 1x end section)
hull form 1: with front-section and end-section

hull form 2 (1x front section + nx middle section)
hull form 2: with front-section but without end-section

hull form 3 (1x front section + nx middle section + 1x front section)hull form 3: with 2x front-section

General installation instructions

mounting of a keel-ledgemounting of a keel-ledge
mounting of a supporting frame with lower stiffness mounting of a supporting frame (with lower stiffness)
mounting of a supporting frame with higher stiffnessmounting of a supporting frame (with higher stiffness)

Modular Float System PT06

for building of pontoon boats with high payloads or larger house boats

  • short description PT06 system

The modular float system PT01 is ideally suited for DIY-building of pontoon boats and bigger mobile house boats. The floats can be plugged together by a tongue and groove system. The hull length can therefore be variable. You need a bow section (top) any number of middle sections and a stern section (endpiece) if you want. By means of the embedded metal threads it's possible to screw a keel ledge at the hull underside and a support frame at the top side.
