The modular float system PT01 is especially suitable for DIY-construction of pontoon boats and small mobile house boats or pontoon rafts. The modular pontoon sections can be plugged together by dovetail guide. Therefore, the length of the pontoon hull is variable. For the construction of a pontoon tube, one front section, any number of middle sections and, if desired, one end section are required. By means of the into the floats embedded metal threads it’s possible to screw a keel ledge at the hull underside and a support frame at the top side. The supporting frame can be made of wood, plastic or metal depending on required stiffness of the floating platform. An attached keel ledge (e.g. solid plastic profile) under the pontoon hull enhances the stability of the hull as well as the manoeuvrability of your pontoon boat or houseboat.

Special Features

The front section of the PT01 pontoon system can be modified. A bow thruster or side thruster can be installed.
